We've created a new and improved collection to make ordering easier then ever! July 1, 2007 marks the official launch date of the new Lucy Ann collection. The benefits of a single united collection include streamlined sizing and a simplified ordering process.
- The New Lucy Ann Collection features:
- High-polish front side
- Tumbled finish on the back side
- Oxidation for a subtle black contrast
- Streamlined sizing with the Mini Collection
- Smaller lettering to accommodate more personalization
- 0.050" thickness (thicker than Classic and thinner than Mini)
- New charm shapes added
- Availability in Sterling Silver and 14k Gold

A Quick Comparison
You may not notice a huge difference between the charms you have and the new collection. The thickness of a charm is 0.050" which is thicker then the Classic Collection and thinner then the Mini Collection. The difference of 0.010" is about that to a dime (0.053") and a penny (0.061").

Size Comparison
Our new collection sizing correlates with the Mini Collection. If you are trying to match charms from the Classic Collection, you'll find comparable sizes if you order one size down. For example, the equivalent to a Classic Small would be a Large. The current sizes are listed in bold while the retired collection sizes are listed in gray.

How to identify your Lucy Ann Charms
First, make sure that the charms you have are not from the New Collection. One way to identify whether your charm is from our New Collection or the Classic/Mini Collection is by looking at the quality mark stamped on the back of each Lucy Ann Charm.
- New Collection charms will be stamped "USA STERLING"
- Mini/Classic Collection charms are stamped "STERLING USA"

If you still need to identify whether your charm is from the Mini or Classic Collection, look closely at your charm and follow these steps:
- Identify the shape of your charm.
- Next, measure the dimensions (width and height) of your charm. Please do not including the soldering ring in your measurement.
- Now, compare your measurements against the chart and select the closest match in size.
- Count how many characters are on your charm. Does it show a full body (F) or half body (H) character?
- Narrow down the collection and size of your charm by process of elimination. Available options are listed below. For example, "2F" is representative of Two Full Body Characters.

About Special Orders
A special order is an item that is not offered on our website and requires us to work outside the specifications offered on our site. This includes making a charm that has been retired.
The cost varies for each special order. Please note that a special order fee will apply to each special order item. To place an order, please contact a Customer Service Representative for availability, pricing and assistance in placing your order at 1-877-LUCY-ANN.

Our Special Process
Lucy Ann is the first in customized, hand-stamped sterling silver jewelry that is truly unique and in a category of its own. Each Lucy Ann pendant is more than just a fashion accessory; it is an emotional keepsake that represents someone special. From the birth of a new child to surviving the loss of a loved one, a Lucy Ann personalized pendant touches the heart and captures the memory.
It all begins with you...
- After receiving your order, each pendant shape is individually cut from a top quality US manufactured sterling silver or gold sheet.
- Next, a Lucy Ann character is stamped into the shape.
- Each piece is then carefully stamped by hand, one letter at a time.
- A jump ring is soldered on.
- After personalizing each order, the pendant enters an extensive two stage tumbling process.
- Next, the surface is pre-polished by hand to smooth out lines and pits.
- Before its final polish, the piece is cleaned with special soap and steam.
- A final hand polish gives the pendant a high gloss mirror finish.
- One final cleaning is made with soap and steam before it leaves production.
- Each keepsake is double checked for quality assurance and sealed in a protective plastic bag for that special loved one.
