Because each piece is made specifically for you, the process takes approximately 15-20 business days to be hand-made and delivered. Every Lucy Ann pendant begins with top quality materials and is manufactured in the USA. The fine tuned process is the result of over 25 years experience in creating handcrafted jewelry.
Ordering Options

Browse through any section by clicking on a link such as 'silver charms' or 'accessories'. Select an option from the menu to refine your search. When you see an item you like, click on "add to bag" and continue shopping. When you're ready to complete your purchase, review your items in your shopping bag to confirm that all the items and personalization are correct. After you've made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click on "checkout" to finish.

Order Changes
As soon as we receive your order, we immediately start the process in creating your personalized order. Each Lucy Ann® piece is individually handcrafted, a process that requires many steps and time to create.
Making a change to your order
If you need to make a change to an order, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Please be aware that it may delay the promised completion date of your original order, as it may require us to create an entirely new piece in order to oblige to your request.

Is it safe to use a credit card on our site?
Yes. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers at any time. Your credit card information is immediately sent to the bank in an encrypted format. The only information that we receive regarding the transaction is an Authorization Number which determines whether or not your request has been approved.
Protecting your credit card information is important to us. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure your credit card information is transmitted safely. SSL is the gold standard in internet encryption technology, which is a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website's servers.
Will my credit card be charged immediately?
Upon credit card approval, your card will be charged immediately so that we can immediately process and begin making your order. Within 24 hours of placing your order, you should receive an automated e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We recommend that you print your order confirmation for your records and make note of the order confirmation number in case you have questions. This way, we can easily locate your order if you should need our assistance.
Please keep in mind that each Lucy Ann® item is handcrafted and takes 15-20 business to made and delivered. Once your order is fulfilled, we will immediately send your package and send you a ship notification via e-mail to notify you that your order has been shipped. Tax Policy
The Federal Government requires that we collect tax for items shipped to California, where Lucy Ann maintains a physical presence. Sales tax is based on the shipping address being used for the order.
Tax is also applied to shipping charges. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the taxes you paid for that item. You will not receive a refund for the taxes you paid on the shipping of that item, as the shipping charges are non-refundable once an item has been shipped.

Estimated Delivery Time: All Standard Orders will be shipped from our facility within 15-20 business days (3-4 weeks) from your order date. Please allow 7-10 business days from the day we ship your order for your package to arrive via Standard Delivery.

Cancellation Policy
Once an order has been successfully submitted, we will begin production right away. Please alert us of your cancellation within one business day. Orders cancelled after this time period will not be refunded the labor and service fees (personalization, soldering and/or refinishing fees). Please do not reply to your order confirmation. Return & Exchanges
At Lucy Ann®, we are committed to helping our customers. We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, let us know. We'll try to help you as best as we can in accordance to our return policy, even if the item has been personalized.
Our Return Policy
Orders may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the ship date and must be accompanied with this completed return form or a copy of your order confirmation. We cannot accept returns on sale or clearance items, custom or special orders. Items that are in a like-new and unused condition, will receive a full refund or may be subject to a 15% Processing Fee after evaluation upon receipt. Any labor cost (personalization, soldering and refinishing) or shipping costs associated with each item is non-refundable.
Lucy Ann will replace any items that are incorrect, defective or damaged upon receipt within 30 days of the ship date. We cannot accept returns on items that are damaged, tarnished or broken from wear; or replace items that have been lost or stolen. Items must be in "like new" condition.
Please keep in mind that:
- Purchases made through other retailers or online vendors cannot be returned at lucyann.com. Please contact the store directly for their return policy.
- Credits will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase, or can be issued to the new order involved in an exchange of equal or greater amount.
- It may take up to 2 weeks from the day we receive your package for your account to be credited.
- It may take 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
- Any discount applied to your original order will be deducted from your refund amount.
- Exchanged items are not eligible for original purchase discounts or promotional prices.
- Any gift with purchase or promotional discount may be deducted from the credit amount due.

Sending in items for attachment?
We get a lot of requests from our customers asking if we can attach new charms to there current charm bracelets. If you would like us to attach bracelets or charms in your possession, please download and complete our Send In Form.
Please note that Lucy Ann® will only accept products from Lucy Ann® for attachment. Since we are applying heat and refinishing various parts, we cannot run the risk of ruining family heirlooms or charms that we cannot replace. Products from other manufacturers may be taken to a qualified jeweler. Thank you for your understanding.
After you have complete the Lucy Ann Send In form, enclose it with the merchandise and pack your return in the original package. How do I use a Promotional Code?
Using the code is simple. Just shop as you normally would. You have the option of entering the code in your shopping bag while you are shopping or you can wait until you get to the order review page of checkout. Enter your promotional code in the box provided below your order information. Once you have entered the promotional code and clicked "apply" you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order. If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, there will be an error message to let you know how to correct the problem before you can continue to check out.
What is a Special Order?
A special order is an item that is not offered on our website and requires us to work outside the specifications offered on our site. Some requests include:
- exceeding the maximum lettering on a charm
- using a character not offered on a specific shape/size charm
- an additional line of lettering
- making a charm that has been retired
Requests are always welcome but cannot always be accommodated. Please note that a special order fee will apply to each special order item. Please contact a Customer Service Representative for availability, pricing and assistance in placing your order at 1-877-LUCY-ANN.
Why am I charged tax on shipping?
For all internet and mail order sales, we are required to tax shipping and all services related to newly purchased items by The California State Board of Equalization.
Can I ship to multiple addresses?
At this time, we only offer one shipping address per order. If you would like to ship to multiple addresses, we suggest you place separate orders for each address you would like to ship to.
If I send a gift, will the recipient receive the invoice?
We enclose a packing slip with each shipment, which does not contain pricing information.
Will I get a receipt with my order?
You order confirmation is considered your receipt. It contains a summary of the items you ordered and prices. Since Lucy Ann is frequently sent as a gift, we enclose a packing slip with each shipment which does not contain pricing information for the convenience of our customers.
I didn't receive an order number when placing my order online. What should I do?
You should receive a order confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. If you did not receive an order number or order confirmation e-mail, your order may be incomplete. Please check your order history in the My Account section. If you order does not appear there, please attempt to place your order again or contact our Customer Service for assistance with placing your order.
Why didn't I receive an e-mail confirmation?
You should receive a order confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. If you did not receive an order confirmation e-mail, you may have submitted an incorrect e-mail address or your order may be incomplete. Please attempt to log-on and check your order history in the My Account section. If you cannot log-on, please contact our Customer Service for assistance with locating your account and placing your order.

Our Special Process
Lucy Ann is the first in customized, hand-stamped sterling silver jewelry that is truly unique and in a category of its own. Each Lucy Ann pendant is more than just a fashion accessory; it is an emotional keepsake that represents someone special. From the birth of a new child to surviving the loss of a loved one, a Lucy Ann personalized pendant touches the heart and captures the memory.
It all begins with you...
- After receiving your order, each pendant shape is individually cut from a top quality US manufactured sterling silver or gold sheet.
- Next, a Lucy Ann character is stamped into the shape.
- Each piece is then carefully stamped by hand, one letter at a time.
- A jump ring is soldered on.
- After personalizing each order, the pendant enters an extensive two stage tumbling process.
- Next, the surface is pre-polished by hand to smooth out lines and pits.
- Before its final polish, the piece is cleaned with special soap and steam.
- A final hand polish gives the pendant a high gloss mirror finish.
- One final cleaning is made with soap and steam before it leaves production.
- Each keepsake is double checked for quality assurance and sealed in a protective plastic bag for that special loved one.

Charm Sizes
Although size choices can vary depending on personal preferences, we recommend ordering large* or small charms for bracelets. Large Charms are slightly smaller then a quarter and Small Charms are slightly smaller then a dime. The X-Large Charm (formerly listed as Classic Collection Large Charms) are slightly larger then a half-dollar and are not recommended for bracelets.

Soldering
All of our charms are finished with a closed sterling silver jump ring for versatile wearing options. We recommend that all jump rings on the charms be soldered onto your accessory to prevent your charms from falling off.
We can attach your charms* at a minimal cost of $6 per charm, compared to taking them to a qualified jeweler which could cost as much as $20 per charm.

*We regret that we can only attach Lucy Ann® charms to Lucy Ann® bracelets/necklaces. Sometimes it is difficult to know what type of metal or process another manufacturer has used. Because we only use the highest quality metals for our products, we know that the metals we are using are solid and pure. Since we are applying heat and re-finishing various parts, we prefer not running the risk of ruining family heirlooms or charms that we cannot replace.

We try to provide you with as much information to help you select what best suit your individual needs. Below are guidelines to help you select the appropriate size for your accessories. Link Bracelets
All of our bracelets are measured end-to-end, including the clasp. Actual length may vary by a 1/4" from the length listed. We recommend:
- For a snug fit, we suggest adding 1/2" to your wrist size.
- For a loose fit, we suggest adding 1" to your wrist size.

Ordering a gift?
Don't have the gift recipient's wrist available for handy measurement? Try measuring the recipient's watch or bracelet. Otherwise, you can try using our size chart as a rough guideline to make your decision. Please keep in mind that these are approximations and not a guarantee for a perfect fit. If in doubt, we generally recommend ordering a larger size since removing links can be handled by a local jeweler and cuff bracelets cannot be lengthened.

Can I fit one more letter onto the charm than the maximum spaces allow? I would like to personalize a full name on it and I don't mind if the letters are crowded.
One alternative would be to choose a larger size or a different shape charm that can accommodate more letters. Unfortunately, the maximum letters is usually due to physical limitations on each charm. In some cases, we can attempt to accommodate your request. However, this would qualify as a special order, which will require an additional fee ($10.00 minimum). If you would like to proceed with your request, please contact a Customer Service Representative for assistance in placing your order at 1-877-LUCY-ANN. Please note that we reserve the right to say "no" if we feel that the extra letter will compromise the look of the charm.
Will the lettering look like the samples pictured on the Lucy Ann® website and catalog?
Yes, the lettering will look like the samples pictured. The items are not "engraved" they are hand stamped here in our workshop. The difference with hand stamping is that the letters are individually pressed deep into the metal and are somewhat free form, where machine engraving is ridged and simply burnished on the surface.
What size charms do you recommend for your bracelets?
Although size choices can vary depending on personal preferences, we recommend ordering large* or small charms for bracelets. How to Care for your Sterling Silver Keepsakes
One of the inherent qualities of sterling silver is that it does tarnish. Depending on the individual, the following may cause silver, especially high-polished, to tarnish or discolor:
- Oils from your finger
- Perfume
- Lotion and Make-up
- Household Chemicals (example: bleach)
- Humidity
It is recommended that your jewelry be removed before showering, cleaning or applying make-up. It is best to store your 14K gold separately to prevent scratching the surface with other objects.
It is best NOT to store the silver in an airtight bag, once it has been handled. The charms are placed in an airtight bag after it has been polished. Once the silver is touched the airtight bag will accelerate the tarnishing process.
Special Care Instructions for Sterling Silver
For everyday build up, sterling silver is best cleaned with a soft jewelry polishing cloth, similar to the Lucy Ann Polishing Cloth. We suggest that you avoid any liquid or paste cleaners as they are often too abrasive for jewelry, or can sometimes cause discoloration.
If the tarnish has accumulated quite a bit, you may want to take it to a reputable jeweler to have it cleaned or send it to us through one of our Authorized Lucy Ann Retailers. Then after that, periodically clean it with the soft jewelry cloth. Most often your charms can be corrected by refinishing the charm.
How to Care for your 14k Gold Keepsakes
With time and wear, 14K Gold may begin to dull. Depending on the individual, the following may cause gold to lose its original luster and shine:
- Scratches
- Soap Residue
- Grease
- Lotion and Make-up
- Humidity
